Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Our programs are designed to meet the educational needs of working professionals. Through a combination of asynchronous and synchronous activities, we couple academic theory and business knowledge with practical, real-world application—bringing the Chicago Booth Approach to business to life. High-Impact Management is delivered in a unique 10-month modular format that allows you to tailor your learning journey with online electives, core live-online modules, and an in-person, on-campus capstone experience.

You will choose three electives in line with your development interests and schedule. With a duration of six or eight weeks, these online electives offer a blend of asynchronous learning, weekly self-paced projects, group discussions, and required live sessions with faculty and thought leaders.

The flexibility of online learning allows you to learn at your own pace. However, it is important to note that our programs have a fixed end date, and that each module includes assignments and discussion forum activities that must be submitted within a specific time frame. If you cannot complete an assignment due to a scheduling conflict, your mentor will be available to assist you. If you cannot attend a live session, the recording will be uploaded to the virtual campus within 24 hours. You will be able to access the platform and materials for 90 days after the program ends.

For the entire duration of the program, a mentor will guide you throughout your learning journey, providing feedback and answering any questions you may have. You will be allowed to ask questions during live sessions with your mentor and instructors, and you will be able to consult with your mentor and your peers in the live forums. Our academic support team will also be available to respond to queries and provide additional guidance and support.

An important part of professional education is learning from others and gaining new perspectives. Each participant makes the program richer by sharing knowledge and expertise. The Chicago Booth Approach to online learning offers many opportunities to connect with other participants, as we believe that peer learning substantially enhances the overall learning experience. We encourage you to take advantage of this feature by connecting and communicating with other participants through the learning platform. You will be able to form interest groups or location-specific groups and interact within them. You can also send direct messages to other participants and consult their profiles (LinkedIn or any other pages included) via the platform.

Our live-online sessions provide the perfect opportunity to engage with faculty, industry leaders, and a global set of peers in an interactive environment. During these sessions, you will be able to access additional content, learn from real-life case studies, and ask questions about concepts, assignments, and projects.

The program culminates in a three-day interactive session that takes place at Chicago Booth’s Gleacher Center campus in downtown Chicago.

Once you have completed the program, you will receive a High-Impact Management Program Certificate.

In addition to earning a certificate, Chicago Booth’s High-Impact Management program offers the following benefits:

  • You will take part in a memorable on-campus graduation event with further networking opportunities.
  • You will receive a Chicago Booth digital badge that serves as an online credential of your accomplishment. Badges can be shared on social networks such as LinkedIn.
  • As a certificate holder, you will become part of the Chicago Booth community and receive access to private Executive Education social media groups.
